Alex Gaskarth
All about my:

Screenname: the gayscarf
Name: Alex(ander) W. Gaskarth
Age: Twenty-One
Sexuality: Bisexual
Played Since: May 2009
Appearance:
Alex Gaskarth has great hair. He doesn't know how, he doesn't know why, but it's a known fact that his hair is awesome! It's just naturally good, alright? He's got lucious (that's right, lucious) brown and blonde hair that just grows and sits right all thet ime. It's full and thick and great and he's stoked for that. Alex has pretty, soft brown eyes and a smile to die for, which is always on his face because he loves to have a good time and never really wants anyone to be bummed. He's tall-ish, average height for a dude, and though he isn't toned up as nice as some guys are, he had a good body and he is completely, one hundred percent confident in himself and that's all he needs. He doesn't really worry too much about looks anyways - he's been blessed with good hair, he has nice eyebrows, and his body is decent so he's content.
Personality:
Alex is a huge goofball. Huge! He loves to joke around, to have a good time, and to be silly because he does not take himself seriously in the slightest. If he's not laughing, he doesn't want to be there because he doesn't see the point in being stoic and weird about life when there's only one of them to live! Alex loves to be silly, to do whatever comes to mind, to be sporadic and random and just go with the flow of whatever's going on around him. He's not afraid to be laughed at, nor is he afraid of what anyone things of him. He's the type to do something because it's funny, because it's exciting and because it's silly and so be it if anyone thinks he's a huge dork.
On the flip side, Alex has a little bit of an anxiety problem. He never used to, but since the death of his brother he's had a harder time dealing with stressful situations and he's never quite sure how to handle himself when he gets anxious. Panic attacks aren't too frequent for him, but when they do happen, they tend to hit him hard and fast and take him out for awhile until he can regain control of the situation. He doesn't like to talk about it, though, nor does he want to talk about why they happen either. He keeps that to himself. His family life is private and though they've dealt with a horrible tragedy, Alex stays strong and does his best to live his life to the fullest and the best, because his brother can't anymore. Because his brother didn't believe it was possible.
Histoy:
Alex grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, being a pretty normal little boy. He grew up with two brothers and loved every minute of it - riding bikes, playing in the mud, bringing frogs home for his mother (just to hear her scream!)... what more could a little boy ask for? He looked up to his older brother so much and would do anything he was asked. All he ever wanted was to hang out with his brother and be a good kid. He followed him around like a puppy, living the best life a little boy could ask for.
Sadly, life took a turn for the worst when Alex's big brother committed suicide. Alex's life was turned upside down and he never quite recovered from it. Though he hides it well and has dealt with the pain of the tragedy, Alex knows that he's done nothing but bottle it up inside and push it down, down, down as far as it would go so he didn't have to think or remember. He misses his brother and he only hopes that one day he can get some peace and some clarity.
AIM Example:
Dramatic:
It was like a blanket, a cloak of doom that was draped over his shoulders almost instantaneously. One minute, he'd been fine. He was great! The crowd was amazing, they were singing back to him, the lights were perfect and everything was going fine. Why now? he asked himself as his chest tightened up, breaths getting shorter and faster, heart racing in his chest. He had to finish. He had to finish this song. Alex felt like he was going to die, felt like he would collapse in front of the thousands of people here, felt like he would die in front of everyone and go down in history as a kid who died on stage. When the song was over, Alex dropped his mic and bolted off stage, knees weak and shaky while he was pushing past Jack and ignoring the boy's confusion as he burst off backstage, breathing hard and falling to his hands and knees. He didn't hear his name being called, he didn't feel the hand rubbing up and down his back, all he felt was the panic, the fear, the bile rising in his throat as he barely made it to the trash can, heaving the contents of his stomach and taking the water bottle offered to him. Rinsing his mouth, he spit into the trash can and looked up at everyone with wide eyes. "I'm so sorry," he spit out, feeling like he'd let his band, his fans down, and there was nothing he could do to control it. He took a few slow breaths, feeling his heart start to settle down as Victoria rubbed his back. He closed his eyes for a few moments, so thankful that he could hear his band out there, covering his ass, knowing he owed them big time. He heard the crowd roar and the first beats of Sugar, We're Going Down starting up, knowing he had bought himself a bit of time to settle down.
Light Hearted:
Alex crouched down behind the tail end of his tour bus, peeking around the side and scanning the area for enemy soldiers. He pumped up the big blue and orange Super Soaker in his hands, dressed in flowery print board shorts and a wife beater with flip flops, tossing his hair from his eyes. He looked back at Zack behind him, bringing his finger to his lips in a 'shhh' and looking back when he spotted Jack and Travis Clark up ahead lurking around the WTK bus, their own Super Soakers pumped up and ready for battle. Alex smirked, nodding his head back to Zack and creeping around the other side for a sneak attack on the other two boys from behind. Dodging behind bus after bus, Alex tiptoed on the tips of his flip-flops so that they didn't flip-flop against the cement, knowing that him and Zack had this battle in the fuckin' bag. Sneaking past the WTK bus, Alex gave his water gun another few pumps for good measure before running out, pulling the trigger and spraying his enemies down with a battle cry, Zack coming after him at top speed. "You lose, suckers!" He laughed brightly, taking off across the large expanse of cement in search of a new hide out with Jack and Travis' yelps of surprise ringing in his ears, clearly pissed that they'd been caught by Team ZA. "Zack, hurry up!" Alex laughed brightly as he dodged in between two buses, not knowing who they belonged to, but knowing they made the most excellent hide outs, weaving in and out between them all. Warped Tour? Warped Tour was awesome.
