Brian O'Riley - OMC.
All about my:

Screenname: Pansy Lero
Name: Brian Andy O'Riley
Age: Twenty-Two
Birthday: June 7, 1986.
Sexuality: Gay, very closeted, semi-homophobic towards himself.
Played Since: June 2007
Appearance:
Brian is gorgeous, enough said. He stands at 6'1", and treats his body like a temple. Brian follows a vigorous morning work-out routine that consists of push-ups, sit-ups, free weights, squats and lunges. After work/school, Brian jogs 10 miles every evening. He takes care to be wary of what he does and doesn't eat, and though he's not a vegetarian, he's picky about what he eats. Brian has reddish-brown hair, shaggy-cut, with beautiful dark brown eyes. He's of Irish heritage and his name shows it. He has his left eyebrow pierced, wears a hoop in his right nostril, and a ring in the center of his lip. Brian has a few tattoos, easily hidden, and occasionally wears eyeliner.
Personality:
Brian is very shy. He's quiet and mild-mannered, never one to start conversation. He's not insecure in the slightest, he's just nervous when it comes to crowds and new people. Brian is the sort of coffee-shop nerd who goes there to drink obscene amounts of macchiato and read an entire book in one sitting, oblivious to the world around him. He's nervous when he has to talk to new people, and not the best at conversation, and sometimes stumbles his words when he's forced to interact with strangers.
When Brian is comfortable, however, he opens up quite nicely. He loves to have fun and do all sorts of activities, but is big on the "outdoorsy" type things. He loves to jog and hang out on the beach. In the summer, Brian is rarely home. If he's not working, he's at the beach from sun-up 'till sundown. He can be funny and silly when he's opened up to people, and he really would like to be that way all of the time, but can't seem to get over his shyness. He just needs a little bit of patience, and a small push in the right direction.
History:
Brian grew up as the only child of a lawyer father and a housewife mother. From an early age, he began to resent his mother for her stuck-up attitude. His mother was a very fake and impossible person, and Brian hated it. He gravitated more toward his father - a well known and respected lawyer - and his kind heart and good ways. When Brian was sixteen, his parents divorced and Brian opted to live with his father, with weekend visits to his mother's place. Still, he resented it.
Around the age of fifteen, Brian knew what he wanted to do with his life. He loves children, loves helping, and generally wants to make a difference in people's lives. He knew that he wanted to be a doctor - a pediatrician - and he worked hard in high school, opting out of spares and optional classes so that he could graduate early. He went straight to Medical School and is now in his fifth year. He's taken a residency at a children's hospital and really cannot wait to graduate.
As far as his relationships and romance history... Brian has not been successful, mostly because of how shy and insecure he is in his sexuality. He knows he's gay, and likes boys, but it's been hard for him to accept this part of himself, considering the girlfriends he had through high school and earlier in university. He knew, though, that when he was with them it never felt quite right, and something was always missing. He was catching himself looking at males, and hated himself for it. Eventually, he started coming around and trying his shot at boyfriends, but it never worked - they all ended up giving up and leaving him heartbroken. Brian has never been with a male, and the idea scares him, but he's ready to find someone to love, someone who will love him for him, and be okay with taking things slow so that he can get used to who he is on his own time.
Past Relationships: The following are all taken from an OMC community that Brian was a part of. He had the worst luck as a member of that place, as you will see.
Brian has dated (or tried to date!) five boys in the past (see above: heartbroken).
Saeren: Saeren (19) was the first boy Brian allowed himself to be attracted to and to act on. He really liked Saeren, liked the time they spent together, and wanted things to work out. In the end, Saeren told Brian that he didn't want to have to deal with Brian's sexuality insecurities and would rather be with someone who would be open about his sexuality.
Asher: Asher (19) was Brian's best friend since early teenage years. Asher was a teenage runaway, and Brian's parents took the boy in to get him on his feet again. The two grew up like brothers, but there was always underlying feelings between them. Asher was openly gay, Brian was closeted. It all spilled out one day at the bookstore the two boys worked at, and at the time, Asher was in a relationship. He told Brian he had to think about things, but in the end it resulted in Asher telling Brian that regardless that he loved him, he couldn't leave his boyfriend.
Jesse: Jesse was fifteen when he and Brian (20 at the time) met. Brian and Jesse both volunteered at the hospital in their spare time, and over the course of time they got to become friends and hung out a little, regardless of the age gap. It turned out that the two of them were very compatible and found that they were both insecure with themselves (Jesse was religious) and in the end, it worked out well for them. When Jesse's legal guardian passed away, Jesse was placed into foster care in an entirely separate state and thus ended their budding relationship.
Gabriel: Gabriel (19) was the one who had the most impact on Brian's life. Gabriel lived directly below Brian's apartment and the two often would up at each other's place, watching horror movies, eating pizza and just hanging out. Gabriel was there for Brian through his coming out, and his past failed attempts at being with a male. Over time, it was Gabriel who told Brian that there was feelings, and he wanted them to take things further. Brian fell hard for Gabriel, fell in love completely, and was head over heels smitten with the blonde boy. Gabriel understood him and was fine with Brian's comfort level and never pushed him into anything. In a bizarre turn of events, however, Brian went downstairs to visit Gabriel, only to find his apartment completely cleared out and empty, no note, no phone call, no explanation.
Scoutt: Scoutt (23) came awhile after Brian was getting over the heartbreak caused by Gabriel's sudden and unexplained disappearance. Scoutt was older, more experienced and refined, and Brian liked that about him. He thought that maybe this would work out - they shared a lot of the same interests and got along really well. Scoutt was willing to wait for Brian to get over his heartbreak, and made it very clear that he wanted to be with Brian and would do whatever it took to make it comfortable for him. Another day, another drama, and Scoutt broke the bad news that he was forced to move to a better job opportunity, and thus ended the possibility of a real relationship.
At this point, Brian wants to give up on males. He's often said that he would "rather be a fake heterosexual, than a real homosexual", just so that he can have some kind of intimate human contact - someone to share a bed with, someone to talk to, to do things with, to be there for him. He's ready to give up, and feels rather defunct as a human because all of his attempts have failed him.
AIM Example: In which Brian is at the beach and runs into Gabriel (see above) who he was completely in love with. They haven't seen each other for over a year.
Oh Really Brian (10:57:24 PM): Brian had stopped with Zero for a moment, sort of caught up in his thoughts as he watched the waves roll in. Another school year was said and done and he was that much closer to his goals and dreams and hopes. It seemed to him like this past year had gone by so quickly with barely the blink of an eye, and here he was now. After Gabe had left, he'd thrown himself into his studies completely, canceling the world out from around him, really. He'd met a guy, an older guy (for once) and he'd liked him... but he was too much of a pussy and all hung up on a certain someone and nothing had ever really come of anything. But standing there on the beach made him realize that he really had missed out on a lot, probably, when he was studying and working and spending all his time at the hospital. It wasn't until her heard Zero bark that he was snapped out of his little thought-wandering and he turned to look for her, spotting her over with her Frisbee snuffling around someone. He frowned, hoping she wasn't being a pest (because, after all, she was a beagle) and jogged across the sand. "Zero!" he called, snapping his fingers. "Come back here!" Brian said, looking at her, not entirely noting just who the boy was as he stood down by the water still.
Gabe:
Oh Really Brian (11:20:45 PM): When Zero didn't come immediately like she usually did, Brian frowned uncertainly. She was a good dog and always did what she was told, she was trained well and minded her manners and he was none too impressed when she was all sniffling and wagging her tail at whoever she was up there by. When the boy got up, however, Brian squinted to try to see if maybe it was someone he knew? The sun was in his eyes, though, and he was having a hard time trying to make him out. When he got closer, however, Brian's eyes flew open and his heart sank, stomach flip-flopping all around. What the hell was Gabe doing here? Back here? How was this even possible? Brian had a lot of unpleasant emotions tied in with Gabe and he wasn't sure that he wanted to be remembering such things and maybe having to deal with shit he never dealt with before, only pushed back and ignored. Hearing Gabe say hello just made it even worse. "Gabe.. uh. Hey," he said, just as hesitant and unsure, because really? He did not need to deal with Gabe and his shit on the beginning of his wonderful summer vacation that was going to be filled with awesome, and definitely not a boy he was maybe probably kind of in love with at one point.
Gabe:
Oh Really Brian (11:39:31 PM): Brian felt uncomfortable with Gabe there, sort of not really talking to him. He didn't know what to do, what to say, how to react. But maybe he hoped sort of that Gabe would at least give him something to go off of. When he didn't and he said he was going to leave, Brian couldn't help but feel crushed up all over again. Sure, he was angry (if he let himself stop ignoring the feelings nagging at him) and upset and pissed the fuck off, but Gabe was... right there in front of him and it was all to bizarre. Brian looked down at Zero, licking over his lip ring for a moment and just looking back out at the water. He was a good person, a really good person who volunteered his spare time at clinics, and played with the kids on the hospital, and visited the mother he hated and never really had a mean bone in his body. But right then? Right then, Brian wanted to inflict some kind of pain because he'd never gotten anything to help him sort out his head.. so why should he give Gabe the luxury of just walking away. Staring out at the waves coming in, Brian nodded his head slightly. "Right.. right, you go, Gabe. Run off and see how fast you can pack your apartment up this time. Maybe you can beat your standing record."
